Systems Design Architect

Remote Working

Package up to £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Company Benefits

As a System Design Architect, you will play a crucial role in driving simplicity, automation, digitisation, and security in the low-level design and implementation of my clients operational networks, platforms, systems, and services.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement network, platform, and service solutions with a focus on simplicity, automation, and security.
Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in low-level designs and operational toolsets.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to operational, maintenance, and security practices.
Oversee the deployment of third-party suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
Mentor and provide guidance to systems engineers and other team members.
Provide expert technical advice, contribute to business cases, and assist in problem investigation and resolution.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive advances and improvements.

Requirements:

Extensive hands-on experience in operating and building networks, systems, platforms, and services

Strong design experience with a focus on simplicity, automation, digitisation, customer satisfaction and security.

In-depth understanding of service provider technologies and their integration into other technology verticals.
Ability to translate business requirements into practical network, platform, and system designs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify and automate service provisioning.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners
